Eragon
One night, while a fifteen year old farm boy, Eragon, is
hunting in the mountains, he comes upon a round, polished blue
and white stone. He just believes he's lucky to have found
something to trade for food for the upcoming winter. He
discovers, to his dismay and surprise, that it was an egg,
within the egg a dragon. Eragon, unknowingly, had
uncovered the only hope to save Alagaeisa from the Empire, ruled
by King Galbatorix and his dragon, Shuikan. He flees his
hometown, guided by the old storyteller, Brom, all the while
being pursued by the Empire. Will Eragon join King
Galbatorix and the Empire? Or will he run to the rebel
group known as the Varden and fight against the king?
